Spooktober NaNo Prep: Writing Horror and Preparing for NaNoWrimo
Saturday 11th October, 2pm – 3:30pm Irish time (GMT+1)
Literature has to build the atmosphere for horror in a different way than can be done in film. Writing 50,000 words in thirty days is a horror story for some people. Join us as we break things down into bite-size pieces to prevent people from being overwhelmed by it all. We’ll go over the basics and talk about different ways to layer in a horror atmosphere from the very beginning.
Registration is required (a Zoom account is not). Note that the meeting time is shown as 1:30pm but attendees will be placed in a waiting room until the workshop’s 2pm start time.
